Invitation to Erdogan 'Woman, know your place'

A big stromash over Yousaf's invitation to Erfogan to visit Scotland. What do we think?
I'm not surprised the invitation was made, given the First Minister's religious and family connections and the Palestinian situation but it seems unwise.
First it's rather politically loaded at the moment and second, it seems to
me yet another stab in the eye for Scottish women to invite in a man who believes women are of lesser status.

Yousaf is an imbecile. Promoted beyond his capabilities despite failing badly in any role he has held.

Thinks he’s a global statesman, to Erdogan et al, he is a useful idiot.

I very much doubt Mr Erdogan would have much interest in visiting Scotland and in the meantime it happily diverts attention from the Covid enquiry . Apparently he intervened in helping to get some of The FMs wife’s family out of Gaza so that is why Humza is making a fuss of him .

Perhaps Humza should concentrate on Scotlands internal affairs as they are in pretty dire straits .
