and so the SNP/Yousaf clown show continues to roll. Actually flabbergasted at the incompetence of this mob.

I mean, I agree with you generally. What have they done now? I see his BIL has been arrested for drug dealing and in connection with a death today?!

BigBoysDontCry · 16/01/2024 16:11

Yep, it's difficult to pinpoint if there is one particular incident..

To be fair, we can't choose who we happen to be related to but this is by marriage, so maybe?

So of his wife's brothers, one is a terrorist supporter now expecting to be brought to the UK and another a drug dealer who seems to be implicated with shoving someone out a window.

Meanwhile I was reading on another thread about his wife's romantic affairs and we know Humza is also fond of playing away.

And yet we are having nats saying how he is a great leader of morals and principles shoved down our throat all over X.

Edinburgal · 16/01/2024 16:36

@BigBoysDontCry your post made me laugh. And not forgetting Humza's inlaws got caught in Gaza recently which he liked to remind us every day. We have moved on now and half his family are previous postmasters so he is onboard with the compensation scheme. If it wasnt all such serious topics it would feel a tad Elevenerife

People are not responsible for the actions of their relatives, especially not their in-laws. I fail to see how the arrests have anything to do with Humza.

Edinburgal · 16/01/2024 17:21

@Aaron95 i would tend to completely agree with you but it is becoming increasingly concerning that its not just one member of the in laws, its half her immediate family. What do they discuss around the dinner table? Also, when you take a public role you have to expect your family will be looked into. You never hear of Kate Middleton meeting up with the dodgy Uncle.

I do agree to a point.

If he had an otherwise exemplary record and hadn't shown how he is repeatedly "influenced" by his wife and her family then it would be one of things where "you can't choose your family".

Agreed

Unfortunately his meddling with Gaza (and giving away our cash) was probably driven by those same relationships

Never has one man dissuaded me from 45 years of independence supporting. Could not trust them now.

I didn’t mention family arrests? There’s so much more, much more serious for Scotland that he and his shithouse party have banjaxed.

Corrupt to the core, the lies, the cover ups, the court cases, the iffy contracts, the I can't recall, the makey on embassies costing millions, the magic money tree being shaken for all its worth, the bribery policies, the doomed schemes that cost and went nowhere.... Have I missed anything?.

BigBoysDontCry · 16/01/2024 20:11

The hiding that they have reduced the places available for Scottish students at uni?

It's an easily solved issue, just allow those who are willing to pay the same opportunity to apply for an unfunded place like ruk students and then the funded places can happily be targeted to increase opportunities for those who can't afford it. Regardless that it's not an upfront payment anyway and repayment is a graduate tax so it shouldn't put anyone off going if they can live off the maintenance loan.

I loathe the Scottish Government! I want to see the SNP/ Green Party coalition roast in hell! They can take any MSP who voted for either the GRA reforms or the Hate Crime Laws with them. Is it now a hate crime for a Scottish woman to say that?
