‘Highlands have a lonely feel’ (looking for a book)

Sorry for the odd title, basically I came across a book recommendation on another thread off of the back of the phrase ‘Highlands have a lonely feel.’ Now I can’t find the thread, and really want to read the book.

It’s a non fiction work about the clearances and the history around that time (I think).

The most famous book I know about the Clearances is by John Prebble, could it be that?

Or books by Dr James Hunter, he's written several.
