Walk to Glasgow Pram from centre?

Is it feasible to get the train into Glasgow and walk to the Glasgow Pram Centre (all the way along and just off Bell Street, according to Google Maps). The map gives me a route, but I don't know if it's an ok walk (i.e with paths all the way, no dodgy areas) as I'll be walking with a pram and another child.

Yeah pretty much a straight walk from central, about 20 mins or so.

Which station? It's only 10 minutes from High Street. Definitely doable from Central though, just head down to trongate and head for the Barras.

It's about a 20min brisk walk for an adult. The pram centre is in a kind of industrial area, near the Barrowlands if you know it. It's safe enough to walk it but with another child plus pram I'd probably get an Uber!

Thanks! Sorry, from Queen Street.

Does an Uber have car seats? I haven't used one (or a taxi for that matter since before having kids)? I live somewhere with no taxis or anything and usually drive myself everywhere!

It’s fine, head straight across George square when you come out of queen street station and keep going until you hit Argyle street then turn left along Argyle Street / Trongate and follow it straight along past the Barras until you turn left up to the pram centre. That might not be quite the shortest route but keeps you on busy main roads and shopping streets.

Why don’t you just drive then?

Because on this occasion I'm getting the train into Glasgow, where I haven't been for many years, and I'm just wondering if I could visit the pram centre as part of that day out. I could drive but I'd need to park in the city centre for what we're doing and I have no clue where's best, plus the eldest is quite excited about getting the train.
