My mind has gone blank- can anyone recommend some adventure activities for a 19 year old at the weekend. Either Glasgow or west of Scotland
Thanks, need inspiration!

For you? If not what do they like? Are they wanting activity?

Sunnyrain5678 · 19/09/2023 17:22

Yes, adventure stuff. Not for me.

Any gig at barrowlands - DS seems to view the pit as a contact sport.

There’s a wakeboard and surf school in Loch Lomond shores that DS is desperate to try - might be getting towards end of weather window for that though.

Thanks- great ideas!

Kayak with friends and camp on the coast or on lochs.

If you’ve got bikes then train to Wemyss Bay and take them on the ferry to Bute, or to Largs and ferry to great Cumbrae which is a very cycle-able 10mile lap of the island.

There are also two bike hire shops on Great Cumbrae, so you don't even need your own bikes. Just take the bus from the ferry into Milton. Fab little place.

This is really appreciated, thanks!

There is the Climbing Academy, it has two locations. One in Maryhill and the other at Kinning Park, next to Fayre Play, an adult-only fair ground.
