DS is going to P.6 this year. I do get some UC and the Scottish child payment. I read that they are going to provide funding so that he would still be entitled to free school meals but I’m unsure if this is going ahead.

Does anyone know about it?

That says it's delayed until 2024. Do you qualify for free school meals due to income?

It should have happened last year but it's been delayed. Our school is having a school kitchen built as the one who currently supplies us with lunches cannot cope due to having to provide nursery to P5 plus paying P6/7's. Another local school has increased nursery from 30 to 100 places so it's become very over subscribed for a school that was cooking for 3 schools.
