Removal companies that use smaller vehicles?

HELP!!! Due to move at the end of the month and due to restricted access at our new house we're really struggling to find a company that has availability AND has vehicles suitable for access. Anyone got any recommendations? We're west of Glasgow and just moving locally...

We had this problem. The firm we used got around it by packing into a transit van and ferrying back and forwards to a removal van.

Our last house had very restricted access and Pickfords just used a transit to shuttle boxes to the big lorry

How small does it need to be? We used an excellent local firm not too far from west of Glasgow (and I know he works further than that) who I would highly recommend - his van is a lot smaller than the full size removal vans but also a fair bit bigger than a transit. Kinda motorhome size and shape with a bit over the cab if you know what I mean. If that sounds good let me know and I will message you with his details.

Hiya - I'll PM you with the firm we used, they had a Luton van and I think smaller things as well, and they were great!

Thanks everyone - have been firing out messages all afternoon and just had someone phone us back so not had written quote through yet but fingers crossed we're sorted!

Have you tried Green Move? They're excellent and IIRC their vans are a bit smaller.

Bradleys are ace.

unfortunately green move were one of the ones who couldn't manage the move. bit of a man-and-a-van we've booked but think they will be ok and MUCH more affordable than the one quote we did have with availability which was over £4k for a 2 mile move...
