Hi all, we're currently house-hunting in the Currie/ Balerno area, having decided this is the area we want to settle in. We've been renting in Currie since last August whilst we decide, so know the area reasonably well.
DD is 3 so will go into p1 in next year or two. We've viewed nice houses in catchment areas for all three local primary schools (Currie, Dean Park and Nether Currie), and just wanted to seek local parents opinions of the three schools and if there's any big differences between them? We've ruled out Juniper Green & Ratho. We're happy with either Balerno or Currie High School later, as they seem similarly well respected.
