My 4 year old has been referred by the GP with suspected cealiac disease but the waiting time for the hospital is 6 months... I'm really unhappy having her suffer this long!

I've tried to Google but I'm not coming across anywhere that I can take her for what I think is just a blood test to rule this out? Can anyone suggest or recommend someplace I can pay privately in Scotland?

The spire private hospitals in Edinburgh are v good - you could either book with a specialist or book with one of their private GPs who I would assume can then order the test?

Otherwise, I have used this company before - you pay for whatever blood tests you need and then book in for it at one of their clinics (the spire Murrayfield hospital in Edinburgh is one of their partners). I think some of the tests also offer a draw at home option.

My daughter was diagnosed with celiac last year (In Edinburgh), our GP was able to facilitate blood tests after I complained about the hospital wait list - can you ask if they can do that? Good luck.
