Edinburgh - short term let license scheme

Can anyone confirm if the proposed extension to the registration deadline from 01 April to October has been approved.

I was on the Edinburgh Council website today and 46 people have registered. I'm pretty sure there are more AirBnBs than that in the city.

Are people unaware of the scheme or just not bothering to register?

I think people are assuming the postponement will be approved in advance of the actual deadline. The loud and public pronouncements that they would postpone in January didn't happen though. You have to wonder how many more voters the SNP can afford to piss off.
