Dh and I have just put everything in place
to buy a new build in Blaigowrie.

he’s from Edinburgh originally and retired last year. I went to university in Stirling and it was an ambition of both of ours to move the the highlands when we retire.

Sadly I still have to work and get to London or Paris once a month so the highlands we’re a little too remote so after 18 months of searching we’ve settled for Perthshire as being best of both worlds.

A 444 mile relocation.

im trying to decide if we are a little bit mental. My mother thinks we are both certifiable.

I don't live near where you're moving to but I'm sure you'll love it. Remember your mum will be feeling sad that you're moving away - just make plans for her to come up!

We already life 200 miles from her in the opposite direction. Mother lives on Merseyside so it’s just a couple of hundred in the other direction!
