I'm absolutely shocked by her behaviour. Is this all any politician has to do if they don't want to answer something? Can the PO not stop her leaving or ask her to come back and answer?!

What has happened to our Scottish parliament. It's an utter joke.

Wow! That’s shocking behaviour from an MSP let alone a minister. You wouldn’t get away with that at a debating competition at school.

I’m not surprised; makes a mockery of Holyrood, Scotland and the people.

We can change this; stop voting green, stop voting for SNP and Nicola sturgeon because she went into coalitionand put them in ministerial office.

Rainbowshit · 20/01/2023 21:07

I find it really depressing. Why would she think that's acceptable? The quality of our Scottish politicians is absolutely dire.

I am not a fan of the SG or ANYONE involved in this debacle, but any pretence that this wouldn't happen in Westminster is nonsense. They're as bad as each other.

Workerbeep · 20/01/2023 22:04

Ok.

But this is what happened in holyrood the other day by a MSP representing Scottish people on a devolved issue. we are talking about something that happened in Holyrood not Westminster.

we actually have the power to vote out an MSP who shirks their responsibility in this manner shows through this action contempt and disrespect.

if it’s concerning enough for voters it will change.

But but but westmonster. Yawn.

How about holding our politicians to higher standards. I mean that IS what we were promised right?

Yawn indeed. I forgot we can't describe the Scot Parl as anything other than the most evil of all administrations on here. Oops.

So you don't want better from our Scottish politicians. Got it.

The Parliament isn't the Administration. Shocking how ignorant some people are!

Workerbeep · 20/01/2023 22:37

Oh come on! how very dare we judge the people in power in Scotland by their actions on matters than concern Scotland. Seriously!

The argument of saying westminster is bad, worse, as long as we aren’t England is so very, very tiresome and embarrassingly overused now and folk are wakening up. It’s used to shut down discussion, avoid critique and excuse below par performance.

Cheekymaw · 20/01/2023 23:02

What a brass neck they have. They have turned into exactly what they accuse Westminster(Wastemonster) of being. Absolute joke . Any criticism means you are a raving Yoon and must have Union Jack tats on yer heid. The Greens are a bunch of absolute scoundrels. I'll go better than that- creepy rotten scoundrels. Get them ta feck.

Shelefttheweb · 20/01/2023 23:03

What was the point of order? Can it be asked again?

Shelefttheweb · 20/01/2023 23:04

I presume she was unable to defend herself?
