Glasgow restaurants with car park

I have family visiting Glasgow next week, who want to take me for lunch. Issue is, one of us can't walk very far so we would need a car park and I can only think of uninspired suggestions like Greene Kings etc.

Any suggestions for something good/interesting/different that might suit??

Is the bungo still open? I think you can drive pretty close Altho I don’t know how close you can park, you might have to go & fetch the car. Or stravaigin & the left bank (Altho you’ll need to request no stairs) on Gibson street. You would be able to drop very close & you ca usually get on street parking quite close.

It's up near Milngavie but the Tickled Trout is nice and the staff were very helpful when my DS wanted something not on the menu.

Whereabouts will you be base? There are lots of nice places all over the city. The Bungo is still open. MacMillans is also down that way, there is street parking

How far can they walk? There's a car park across from the Italian Kitchen in Merchant city (Ingram Street)- That car park is also close to Turkiye Efes (Turkish restaurant) - Which I really like personally. What kind of food were you thinking of I can have a think!

Where abouts are you? The old mill in Killearn has parking, Andiamo in Milngavie, Beaumartin in Bearsden, Rafaelles in Bearsden too.

there’s probably some places in Hyndland too/ there’s a restaurant on great western road at gartnaval hospital- it changes quite often though, so I can’t remember what it’s called!

There's also Mother India (cafe and Dining In) just across from Kelvingrove. Loads of parking at the gallery. I ate there on Saturday and the food was lovely.

If it’s city centre, red onion is lovely, you can usually get parked on the meter pretty close to there or somebody could drop the person and go park somewhere again on the meter or there is a Q park across the road. They also often do itison deals but also have a very reasonable lunch menu.

@Michellexxx Is it the place with the Domes outside? Or they were the last time I passed it a few months ago. I think it's called 1051 GWR - Never been there but I'm planning to go so, I've heard it's nice.

We're in Rutherglen but happy to travel round the city, prefer not to venture as far as Bearsden/Milngavie but would if somewhere we really fancied - or for the next time!

If your in Rutherglen, Mitchell’s in carmunnock is close and has its own car park.

The bistro in rutherglen is lovely.
The parkville in Blantyre or carrigans in Blantyre are also great and both have car parks

What about Angels in Uddingston? Not too far from you

Have you tried Padano in Rutherglen? No steps, great food.

Also, Padano has car parks behind it, and it would be easy to drop someone at the door then go and park.

House for an art lover. Lovely restaurant and plenty of free parking
