What happens for more expensive properties? Are the rates the same as before? I can't remember what happened last time.

Stamp Duty or LBTT is devolved so no for us at the moment.

Ah, so same as before. Yes but I'm sure last time our land tax was chaged also so I think changes in England will be reflected in some format here however it doesn't affect me anyway then if over 250 is the same as before.

FTBs purchasing a property up to £425K also pay nothing in SDLT.
