Are either of these suitable? Are they likely to be too scary? I am thinking maybe Mary kings close is less scary?

Def Mary King close it’s atmospheric not scary in the least
they big up the woo factor but it’s actually not scary

Nabrt · 17/09/2022 22:56

Ah thanks. That’s what I was thinking would be the case. More educational

Mary Kings Close is brilliant!

DS didn’t last 2 minutes in the dungeons.

“Gar de loo!!”

Zone2NorthLondon · 17/09/2022 22:58

Yes it’s a hoot, I love it

Camera obscura is brilliant.

Zone2NorthLondon · 17/09/2022 23:06

Yes to camera obscura. My kids marched really confidently, I was all trepidatious

stickybear · 17/09/2022 23:10

The dungeons scared the crap out of me when I was about 27 Blush

I wouldn't do Dungeon with children of that age, it's gory. I hated it as an adult!

MKC is atmospheric but not scary.

Loved Mary Kings Close. My, then teenagers thought it was amazing.

Thank you sounds like Mary kings close is best. We have done camera obscura before and agree it’s really great

The Dungeons is scary, but it is obvious that the people are actors and that it's all fake which reassured my nervous child.

Invisimamma · 19/09/2022 18:14

My DS absolutely loved the dungeons at that age but his Dad was scared. Completely depends on the child.

My DDs wouldn't even go in the doors of the Dungeons at that age. They loved Mary Kings Close though.
