How long should it take to receive Qualified Acceptance?

Hi

We put our offer in 12th August (about 7 working days ago) and it was accepted by the seller straight away via estate agent and then passed over to their solicitor. Since then our solicitor has heard nothing and has not received any qualified acceptance - how long should we leave it before we chase? As far as we are aware the seller already has purchased a new house so isn’t waiting on anything that side of things. On our end, we have our mortgage offer in place and have already concluded missives on our sale.

Just getting nervous as we previously had an offer on another house, gave them 4 months to find a new home (in that time we concluded missives on our sale with very understanding buyer) and the sellers eventually pulled out and we had never received QA or anything !

I guess I thought since this seller already had a purchase in place we would’ve received the QA by now ?

Most conveyancing solicitors are extremely busy at the moment
That is not a particular delay but I would ask your solicitor to chase it up
