Campsite for unaccompanied children, striking distance of Edinburgh

So far I've tracked down Spotty Dog near Kilsyth, West Highland Way Campsite, Blanefield and Rue du Chateau, Bonchester Bridge. Can anyone suggest any other campsite that will accept a booking for unaccompanied teenagers?

It would be ideal if it was a pleasant location, striking distance of Edinburgh as they'll no doubt need taking and bringing back, something they can do without needing transport and maybe a shop they can walk to.

They wanted wild camping, some parents are drawing the line at that point, but they would love a wild camping feel.

I'm pretty sure that no campsite is going to allow this, a whole host of reasons but insurance being one. Are they all under 16?

Maybe a parent could book them on and leave them to it. Most sites won't get involved with campers once they're booked in unless they are causing havoc, doing something unsafe or disruptive to other campers.

I thought the same, but the three I mentioned accept unaccompanied youngsters from 13. Camping and caravanning club sites take 14 plus if they do a "youth camping" test. I've come round to the idea since realising Duke of Edinburgh is 14 plus. DH and I plan to stay somewhere nearby just on case we're needed.

I camped wild in the lake district at 14/15, three days two nights, before mobiles etc, I think my parents were very brave! My friend was very familiar with the area we were hiking in and we'd all done d of e ( proper one not covid version!) Hope you find somewhere good.
