What activities have your primary schools reintroduced?

Just wondering if your primary school have reintroduced any activities that were previously done in school time but were stopped due to covid?

Our primary used to do forest school with P5's, bike ability (cycling proficiency) for P6, swimming lessons and a residential trip for 2 nights in P7. There was a netball and dodgeball club after school as well.

Have your school been able to restart any of these things yet?

Our school has reintroduced a few sports clubs - all outdoors - none of the other things you mentioned have returned yet.

Forest school has continued for us but in smaller groups out with the school woods as Not allowed parent helpers yet. Been no swimming (smaller kids lessons still not restarted either yet though), cycling profiency hasn't been done since dd2 was in p4 so 3 years ago. Afterschool football and p7 dance club are the only afterschool activities still on. April's p7 5 day residential still going ahead at this time.

We're not in Scotland but our school have got loads going on - bikeability, football club plus matches with other schools, Lego club, baking club, gardening club, coding club etc

Bike ability is definitely happening in schools as we've been asked for a volunteer to take it in ours. We have a range of after school clubs on too. Outdoor learning has happened throughout!
Oh, swimming lessons will re start this year also .

Why on earth would cycling proficiency not be on?
It's outdoors and socially distanced 🤷🏼‍♀️

The P7 Residential is going ahead in the next couple of months.

We have swimming lessons, residentials, all after school clubs (sports/arts), trips, assemblies.

Parents not allowed on site still (state primary).

All the same as this ( at my GD state school in NW)

* Kitkat151*. I can't work out which council area is NW?

Football, choir, French, Gaelic, gymnastics (that was lunchtime) that I know of.

I wish they'd do Bikeability but it's never been offered.

HT sent a letter saying they were not going ahead with a residential due to costs, which at least was a Covid-free reason.

No swimming lessons though.

Nothing yet. Classes still in bubbles, split break/lunch times and staggered start and finish times.
It's rotten.
Ds1 is in a composite class and hasn't been able to meet the rest of his year group. Or play with his big cousin in the playground as they're in separate 'zones'
