28 year old woman missing in Edinburgh

Alice Byrne, 28, has been missing from Portobello since 1/1/22, last seen leaving a party that morning. She's described by police as vulnerable.

I don't know Alice well, but by sight because Porty is so small, but this has shattered the local community. I'm sharing in case there's any chance (please God) that it might help her be found safe and well.

She's five six, with dark brown/almost black hair. I'm really bad at adding photos but if someone else could that would be excellent.

Porty is a small, safe community in Edinburgh where everyone is friendly and this is such an unusual thing to happen.

It was reported on the Daily Mail website, so it's now national news.

See police now being quoted as saying she entered the water alone on New Year's Day.

Police have also said search for Dean Conner has been called off and he is presumed dead. He was last seen by the Esk and it’s presumed he went into the Forth.
Musselburgh still full of posters about them.

A few years ago, a lady called Libby also went missing from Musselburgh harbour. There’s a bench on the prom in her memory

So very sad.

I was thinking of her at with yesterday, as I saw the posters up and realised there hadn't been any news/update of late.

How incredibly sad.
