So .. as per the update today , as I’m fully vaccinated with booster and testing negative- I should I be free to go on as normal and leave DH who is positive , in the house! Grin
But what happens with children?
As obviously they aren’t vaccinated?
I’ve a wee DC and would prefer not to keep them inside for a week due to a loop hole?
Shall I just try and test DC too?
Same as I will be doing for a week?

That's what I think. It mentions under 18s which I take to mean lfts for 7 days rather than isolation.

@Bairnsmum05 ah did it? Brilliant.
I used to know wtf was going on , then I got pregnant and basically don’t have a clue Grin

Daily lfts for under 12s? Ooft. I did one on DD once and you'd have thought I took a carving knife to her.

Under 18's come under the same rules as vaccinated adults. I get mine to do their own nose swab - far less drama

In addition, household contacts of people with the virus will now be allowed to take a lateral flow test every day for seven days rather than going into self-isolation.

This applies to everyone in the household under the age of 18 or anyone over that age who has had the first, second and booster Covid jabs.

If one of these tests is positive, self-isolation will then be required for that person.

Anyone identified as a close contact who is over 18 and four months old and not fully vaccinated will still be asked to self-isolate for 10 days and take a PCR test.
