The Scottish govt continue to refuse to add ppl from the vaccine trials to NHS Inform.
We get no QR code .
We have to isolate as if unvaccinated.
We have to pay to travel, in some area we don't get in.

After 4 injection, 5 blood tests, multiple medical exams, ultrasound scans, 2 Covid screening and 1 month of online diaries. We deserve better.

The FM, HY and any SNP member refuse to engage on this.
I've now contacted close to 45 ppl about this of whom only 7 replied.

We are fully vaccinated, and should have the same rights as those who got NHS vaccines

I finally got my petition to parliament completed. If anyone would sign, and share it I'd be grateful

The Guardian covered this on Sunday.

@Torvean thanks - I've just read through some of the thread and will definitely join. I really wish I hadn't taken part in this now - so much for not being disadvantaged because you're part of a trial Sad

Torvean · 28/09/2021 12:14

@doggyg my altruism is long gone. Apparently if NS ( who isn't in a trial) says publicly we are not disadvantaged, we should roll over and accept it. And we should also be extremely grateful for an A4 NON QR Coded letter.

I just got an email from a news programme that may be willing to talk about our situation. I said absolutely not to being on camera. Will see what they come back to me with.

@Haudyourwheesht how many people from Scotland are in Valneva? I remember it being started in Aberdeen a few months behind us.
Did you all get the vaccine?

Haudyourwheesht · 28/09/2021 12:39

I'm not sure how many in Scotland, sorry. We all had either valneva or AstraZeneca so definitely had a vaccine.

Torvean · 28/09/2021 13:51

I didn't realise you got AZ/Valneva. Is that not a bit awkward as those with AZ have an approved vaccine , and those with Valneva don't?

I was actually hoping it'd be valneva as their initial results seem to be better. We'll find out next May. I'd imagine you'd have to be quite relaxed about your chances of getting covid to sign up for a trial in the first place.

Torvean · 28/09/2021 17:31

I can't say I'm overly worried about catching Covid.
After Holyrood today I'm beyond pissed at the govt
