My husband went to the local walk in centre as hes not registered with a GP so never got an invite for his vaccine. He was told just to go back after 8 weeks for his 2nd one. His question is, how does he prove he's had it? I have log on details with my unique username where i can see I've had my 1st etc.
He'll ask when he goes back but I was just wondering if anyone has used the walk im service and knows how it works?

It’s linked to his CHI number(unique nhs identifier).

This link will help you request a record of your vaccination

They'll know, I went for my second one at a walk in yesterday and they had a record of my first one on their system.

He's comfortable they'll know for his next vaccine, it's more of these mythical vaccine passports come in he was wondering.
@everydayisawindingroad that's really helpful, thanks. Ill send him the link.

He will need to recover his unique user name from the link given and then he can register and log in to get his vaccination details

Brilliant. Thanks all. He'll sort it tomorrow.

Don't you have a card that they write the details on in Scotland? Date, type of vaccine, batch number etc etc?

dementedpixie · 11/07/2021 22:42

No we don't get a card. Don't think the card in England can be used as proof of vaccination either

No, this surprised me but we don't.

You can log in with the unique name and get your vaccine info. You can get a paper copy too.

I know this but he doesn't have one because he never got an invitation and used the walk in service ce. However a PP has advised on how he can get this.

Hello, ridiculously that link needs the date of your vaccination not your chi number. Had no idea to keep record of that! Or to keep the letter. I read username and didn’t realise you have a username printed on the back. What a numpty.
