We're priced out of North Berwick but looking to move to the East Coast with easy access to Edinburgh, including the train station and airport.
We have £425k ish but could push for more if needed (but in the "no holidays for a bit" kind of way so not keen).
Two boys age 5 and 9 - going into P2 and P5. Younger boy has a lot of support at school including speech therapy.
We're looking at Aberlady and Gullane - mainly as the new builds seem OK and easy. We need 4 beds as we both work from home.
Does anyone have any feel for either place? Any thoughts on the primary schools in particular- would they be welcoming etc?
