Glasgow rentals/headhunters

Hello!

My daughter and I have decided to move to Glasgow, from France which we are very excited about!

Could anyone please recommend any rental agencies in Southside?

My plan is to rent for a few months until I get to know the city, then buy somewhere.

I will also be looking for a job, so any tips on headhunters (currently in HE but would love a change!), would also be very much appreciated.

It was a long time ago but I found a job via https://www.search.co.uk/contact-us/locations/glasgow

I was going into FE at the time (job as a marketing manager with a college of FE).

Dh used to work in Inward Investment and did a lot of work with them.

I later moved on to work in telecoms through my own speculative approaches to Scottish Telecom (as was: became Thus and was then taken between by C&W and then Vodafone). (I did know that they were expanding though as dh was doing work with them, so he told me who to contact).

It's worth joining the local Facebook groups, eg "I love Pollokshields" and "Strathbungo and Shawlands Group" and asking for local advice - or even saying what sort of rental you are looking for.
