I haven't been listening to the briefings for ages so confused about what we can actually do today.

I know places like Costa and cafes are opening as have seen local places facebooking and tweeting about it. Until 8pm I think, and the same pre-Christmas rules about limited numbers. Fine.

I also know that you can only have alcohol outside. Also clear, although I'm not sure on times and it doesn't really affect me.

What about restaurants? Licensed premises? Can I go with DH this week and have lunch inside with a glass of wine? Or take the kids out for an evening meal to somewhere which is licensed?

exactly, a nice chilled beer with curry or a nice glass of wine with a bowl of pasta would be great.

Tapas and a bottle of wine ...

Surely the alcohol ban is part of the adult conversation and is guided by the science?

Such a shame the weathers been great but the one time in month's the kids get out to the pub it's brass monkey weather

It’s fine. We jacketed up.

But I can’t be trusted to have a drink with my meal inside

In 3 weeks heck I will be so mature I can have a drink with a meal and perhaps not eat before 6pm

What’s with the 8 pm thing. Is it that we turn into licking vampires and run amok
