Covid appointment and bus tickets.

Today I got my covid jag appointment, it's the middle of next week in a nearby town. I live rurally, and included with my appointment letter were four vouchers for bus travel to and from the appointment, allowing for needing to change buses.

I don't actually need the tickets, but I'm impressed that somebody, somewhere thought about transport needs.

I'm in the Ayrshire & Arran health board, my sister in Fife wasn't offered tickets (but she lives in town). So I'm curious, who else has received these vouchers?

Which is a great help for people who need it. As the buses don’t run very well fro

Hmm, so dh had his jag a couple of weeks ago (he's an age group older than me) and doesn't recall a bus ticket offer. Must be a new, local thing.

DH pointed out tonight that as he's over 60, he's already entitled to a bus pass. :)
