Never thought I would see the day but can anyone advise how good/bad their local town is for shopping? Both food and Christmas shopping Grin

I like Montrose. Nature's Garden is a brilliant greengrocer, they do great veg boxes amongst other stuff. Rainbow Lane is a lovely children's shop, lots of wooden toys and Scandi clothes. There is a good butcher's as well.

I think the Angus farmer's markets have gone virtual and they usually have some lovely bits.

Thanks, sounds like a good town for a stroll round and a coffee ☕️
