Hi. I’m looking for recommendations for somewhere to hack out within about an hours drive of Glasgow. Hoping to find somewhere with well trained horses and great countryside.

Castle rednock, port of menteith. Lovely scenery, trekking ponies rather than riding school.

Also tannoch, Cumberland. Hacking might just be for regular competent riders though.
