What is a cafe?

When is a cafe not a cafe but a very small restaurant?

Central belt licenced cafes can now stay open.

Fucks sake, they really are making this shit up as they go along.

Which is good for licenced cafes, I'm not complaining. I wonder what the very small cafe / restaurant at the end of my street will be tomorrow? I bet they'll be out under cover of darkness painting over the 'R' word on the sign above their door so they can stay open.

@BrazenlyDefying
There is no logical reason for this apart from Nicola wanting to exercise her power
Feel so sorry for everyone involved in the hospitality trade,they are being hung out to dry,and there doesn't seem to be any real scientific facts behind this decision

The problem is, based on comments on social media, there is still a massive section of society who supports these huge restrictions. I don't know anyone in real life who does, but there's still a large vocal 'lives before profit' brigade who don't seem to understand the extent to which the two are interlinked. While I don't support the decisions the Scottish Gov have made, I definitely feel they're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Half the people seem to think if they leave the house they will catch the virus and die and the other half think it’s a total overeaction and all the restrictions are indefensible
Truth is somewhere in between
I am not in the central belt
Was out for lunch earlier and can see no logical reason why I could not have a glass of wine
If people think rules are not fair and don’t make sense they will not follow them
