Can I do a day trip to Stirlingshire?

We live in the Glasgow area, under increased restrictions from the rest of Scotland at the moment. My husband and I have no kids and haven’t socialised with anyone else in 3 weeks. We are not unwell. We’d like to do a day trip somewhere in the highlands over the weekend just for a hike. The plan would be to take our own food and drink to minimise contact with other people to protect them although I’d feel bad not contributing to the local economy.

Is this ok under the rules?

If it is not and if you have it could you send evidence so I can show my husband?

There is no limit on travel, just on socialising indoors with other people

I have a hotel booked for Stirling that’s still going ahead for next week.

Thanks demented pixie, would love to get away for the day now as who knows when they will start to limit travel again.

You can go out just not have anybody in your house just go
