Am I right we're still not allowed to hug?

I'm confused. Am I right in thinking we still need to social distance and so you can only hug someone who you live with on your household or I cannot give my mum or sister a hug as neither live with me?

Strictly speaking yes that's right. Children under 12 can hug. We are reducing hugging so I don't hug those I see regularly every time but did hug my sister who I hadn't seen for months.

Can your mum come into your support bubble (if she lives alone) then I think you can hug her.

She's in a bubble with someone else.
It's just that there's been nothing really mentioned about this in the media, other than when children were finally able to hug their grandparents, and I wondered if I'd missed something.
