SNSA tests - what's the current thinking?

I know there was some controversy when the nationalised tests were launched. I'm interested in people's opinions as a parent or teacher--do you think they are useful? If parents ask to see the results, what sort of information is provided? Thanks.

Well that's certainly sending a message! I wonder why more people don't request the results - why not just provide the results along with the end of year report?

Beats me why they don’t give them out - mine said most parents wanted a vague reassurance things were fine and that’s that. I only sent an email to the HT and although they tried to fob me off, when I persisted they shared some information.
