Big house to rent for weekend ?

Minimum 5 bedrooms , 2 hr drive from Glasgow - anyone got any recommendations ?

this one might suit? not sure of price as you have to input dates but it has 5 bedrooms

ah sorry, thought it was your intention to holiday in Glasgow! In that case, what about this house in Eyemouth, which is just under a 2hr drive from Glasgow and by the sea?

Some friends got a castle somewhere near Ayrshire from the landmark trust for a weekend. It wasn't too expensive and was beautifully furnished (although the chimney smoked). Think it was in Cumnock. Worth a try?

How much is your budget? High Wards in Loch Lomond is beautiful but pricey.

I’ve always liked the look of this one in Stronachlacher. It’s on Loch Katrine, there’s a lovely tea room.
Not sure how possible the road is ATM, when are you looking to go?

Mains of Taymouth is fab, it’s in Kenmore and has a selection of different sized self catering properties. This is the largest one, but there are a couple of others that may suit your requirements. We’ve stayed a few times and it’s a little pricy, but really fantastic. Pet friendly too.
