Spa day near Aviemore?

Any recommendations for a spa day in or near Aviemore? Or a few treatments and afternoon tea? There will be 3 of us. We're in Aviemore self catering at Easter with our families so are not sure where to go.

Thanks!

Have a look at the Coylumbridge hotel to see if they have spa and tea., its lovely there and in beautiful setting.

Looks like they dont have a spa but the MacDonald chain in Aviemore do both tea and spa. It will be more in the centre of Aviemore but it's a fab area, I know it very well and also know MacD hotels. I would probably go there.

Thanks, I wondered about the McDonald resort in the town but wondered if it was any use? We had looked at staying in the lodges but discounted it as they looked tired and I was worried the spa might be the same? It's to celebrate a 40th, so I want it to be a lovely experience.

I've stayed in a few MacD hotels and they have all been really good. My favourite hotel there is the Coylumbridge but they don't have a spa.

Aviemore macdobald is a family leisure pool with wave machine and flume. I don't think they have an adults only spa pool. It's a lovely resort but very family focused.

What about Inverness? The Kingsmill Hotel?

The Aviemore McDonald Resort is a bit 1960s Soviet. All concrete. Very, very different to every other McDonald hotel.

Sleeping beauty spa salon in Aviemore - have a look at their website :)

MrsAmaretto · 26/01/2020 13:10

Thanks, Sleeping beauty have a salon in my nearest town so I wanted a proper Spa experience. I'll have a look at Inverness, as there doesn't seem to be a Spa in or near Aviemore.

I don’t think there is anything near aviemore. However if you are willing to travel an hour south to Pitlochry then Fonab Castle is lovely. Would be a lovely treat for a 40th

Spanglybangles · 13/02/2020 21:12

I second Fonab

Fonab for sure.
