We went on Friday night "keeping an open mind" as advised from the reviews the night before, we joined in, sang and tried to have as much fun as possible but it was boring and definitely not worth the money, Kelvingrove is more fun on a normal day and tbh it was all rather bizarre. What made it worse is that it does look great from the outside my kids were so excited but that's as good as it gets! We didn't hang around as hadn't paid for the silent disco and decided to head straight to the christmas markets to bring back some of the festive feeling.

Atleast two of the rooms had a red/green light sitting in the corner and that was the light display for that room, another walkway had pawprint lights, there is someone dressed as an elf in most rooms doing some sort of performance but it is so busy and dark you just usher your way through, my son did like the dinosaur but after being up close for 2 seconds were asked to move on to let other people see! After it all we waited 25 minutes to watch the last video, long winded and beeped out swearing just strange all in, this was the letters that the kids had just put in a sack at the otherside of the room being shot into space, my 5 year old asked if we could go check the sack as he didn't believe they were in a rocket when he had just posted it! Before the launch everyone sings santa clause is coming to town, the person on stage starts looking to the back of a crowd in awe and a spotlight appears, I thought one of the tweaks was going to be that santa did make an appearance after this build up but instead it was a lady in a red cape singing the song, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and actually I am confused as to how anyone said its been brilliant! There is only so much you can make the most of walking around the museum in the dark.
