Cosy, child friendly Italian in Edinburgh

Me, DH and DS age 9 are staying the night in Edinburgh just before Christmas and plan on going to the Christmas markets etc. I would quite like to book a restaurant beforehand and I'm thinking about an Italian that's fairly relaxed but still nice and central. I don't know Edinburgh that well so hoping someone here could recommend somewhere. Thanks!

there will be loads and probably depends where in town you are, my DBs favourite to take his grandchildren to is La Rusticana on Hanover street and there is Bar Napoli on the other side of the street.

Thanks @WaxOnFeckOff they both look nice.

La Rusticana or Vittorias are our go to. Our favourite in Edinburgh is Fabio's in Corstorphine. It's a really lovely place but quite far out.

Thanks @Groovee the reviews for Vittorias look great so think I'll book it.
