Planning to go tomorrow. Is it ok for dc to come out of car seats and sit on parents lap so they can see going round or is that daft/dangerous? I've never been so no idea what speed or how close other cars are.

Well you're not on public roads so it's really up to you.

Generally the cars are crawling round at walking speed or less. I would do it, in fact we have done it.

Ok, thanks. My DH suggested it and I shot it down straight away then started thinking it probably was ok.

Yes, we've done it too. You crawl round and to be honest the drive round bit is only really a very small part of the visit. You'll spend most of your time walking round, on the boat, in the park, at the birds of prey or sealions or coming down the big slide. Fab day out. Have great time.
