I've just been looking at the exam timetable for Nat5s this year (dd is sitting hers this year) and it is not actually that long until they start. Dds first exam is 3rd May and she has 2 maths papers to sit. If only she could be encouraged to do some revision!

She did well in her prelims so hopefully will do well in the actual exams.

Ds got an A for Nat 5 PE but I think they've changed the format since he sat it in 2016. He didn't take it on to Higher though.

I did have to push encourage the school to include "his" sport at Nat 5 Level though Hmm, pointing out that since they were an SRU School of Rugby (ds was in the "rugby class" from its 1st year of operation - which involved extra 4 extra periods of rugby in S1 and S2 - 2 from PE and 1 each from English and Maths) it didn't make sense that he couldn't choose rugby as his practical Confused

Iirc, it wasn't just the practical bit of the practical (for which he scored full marks) that was important, it was also that he had to write up what he'd set out to achieve during the game where he was assessed and describe how he'd applied his knowledge to achieve his objectives. (His rugby teacher described that to me while he was watching the game where he was assessing him; fortunately ds' rugby club at the time was very local to where his teacher lived, so he was happy to come and watch him on a Sunday).
