Places to Eat in Dundee

Going to visit Dd who is at Uni in Dundee. Can anyone recommend somewhere to go for a nice meal?

172 the Caird, in the old Dundee Uni language building so basically on campus or The Newport which is over the bridge but do a lovely tasting menu!

Lots of lovely restaurants in Dundee, depends what you like. Ciao Sorrento, Agacan, Mas, Gallery 48, Rancho Pancho, Castlehill, to name a few.

Café Montmartre, French restaurant up Perth Road, is good.

The Bird and Bear is really good!

Also recommend Gallery 48 (tapas), Tonic (burgers) and Innis & Gunn Beer Kitchen which are all closer to the university.
