They're setting it up today in George Square, but OMG the price! £50 for breakfast, £125 for lunch and £150 fir dinner. And what if you need a wee when you're up there? Grin

mental money!!!

hadn't heard of this?

RJnomore1 · 13/06/2017 20:32

Omg no that looks terrifying

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 13/06/2017 20:34

i looked, though me and a chum could have a jaunt, but I'm away this weekend

and ffs the price...for a very short amount of time!

and what if it's windy or rainy?

They are going all over in a few cities, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, cocktails!

AgentProvocateur · 13/06/2017 20:35

And most sessions are sold out! I'll be able to see it from my office window, I think. It's a giant crane that lifts it up - if it's windy, the whole thing will swing. I'd be seasick probably.

that looks like a load of shit to me, specially here in Glasgow where chances of a sunny calm day are pretty slim

who would book that? only people who have more money than sense and would probably be posting pics of themselves from their phones when they're up there

bretonlover · 13/06/2017 20:39

I did this a few years ago in Edinburgh and it was no where near that expensive!

MacarenaFerreiro · 14/06/2017 08:21

DH threatened to buy me this as a present. I told him that I would not be going up under any circumstances.

At least it's proper restaurants so you'd hope to get decent grub. Don't think the price is outrageous - it's probably double what you'd pay for a table in the restaurant concerned, and you're paying for the experience of being hoisted into the air.

WeeM · 14/06/2017 19:08

Jeez I never realised it was that dear!!! No chance I'd pay anything like that...especially since it's prob gonna be pishing rain!

No, it looks shit. Don't understand why anyone would want to Confused
