Glasgow MNers, what is the road to Daldowie like atm?

It is looking likely that the funeral will be this Friday at 4pm. Everyone has muttered darkly about the road being a nightmare.

option a) motorway, coming off on the slip road
option b) London Road
option c) Edinburgh Road? going down through Garrowhill and onto the old Hamilton Road?

I'll be going from the city centre and without making other childcare arrangements I'd have about an hour (leaving at 3pm on the dot). Is the hour enough time?

As for your route, I'd avoid the M8 on a Friday afternoon. It's awful atm any time though.
I'd go London Road, M74. You should make it in an hour.
