Glasgow.sch.uk domain down?

A bit random I know but I am unable to access any Glasgow school website? Is it just me? I'm a bit concerned as I fired off an email to the school today, and am worried they won't have received it.

Is this connected to the council IT issues?

The Glasgow main server is down, has been all week. So doubt your email will have been received. No idea when it will be sorted!

Thanks, I knew the council server was down, but naively assumed would only be the Glasgow.gov.UK domains that would be affected - was hoping Glasgow.sch.UK wasn't...

There was a fire which was sprayed with water instead of foam apparently.

Dry powder for electrical fires I think.

A friend doubly panicked about this yesterday after the news of the school in lock-down and went on to see if anything on school website.

What school/what was the news regarding lock down Other?

myotherusernameisbetter · 19/12/2015 00:09

6 schools received threats and Bellahouston was on lock down.
