pre school nursery holiday in term time

Dd just started at pre school nursery (she'll go into P1 next year at the same school).

We accidentally booked a holiday months ago before realising the correct school holiday dates so she'll need a week out of the term.

I know taking holidays when kids are at school is not allowed but are we ok ti take her out in nursery?

Yes it's fine, you just let the nursery know the date's.

Do it now while it's not a problem

I work in nursery and find a lot of parents take that last chance of a cheaper holiday. Definitely makes a difference.

In Scotland I've never know of anyone to be fined. It will go down as an unauthorised absence, that's all.
