12 year old summer holidays

Hello

My 12 year old boy used to have lots of friends in primary school and he's does in high school but he has hardly seen anyone over the summer holidays he just wants to game with 1 friend who doesn't go out much either it's driving me insane I've literally tried all sorts and don't get me wrong I do get him out we went jogging last night he likes footy but he seems so disinterested in most things can anyone relate he is an only child couple of cousins alot older

We’ve got the same thing here. Luckily our church is running morning session for teens this week which is getting him out and then I don’t mind (well I do but I let it slide) screens for the afternoon.
Holiday clubs are generally for younger kids but might there be a cooking course or similar for his age (might be too late for this year though)

Thank you do u get him out ok with no disagreeing mine always has an answer for everything lol I'm just worried something else is going on just wanting to sit in his room or is this the norm these days

He is only really happy to go if his friends are also going which I think is fairly normal at this age. Do you know any of his friends’ parents to contact them?

Only a couple I don't know any of the new ones really from high school so different to primary!
