Days out in North Somerset

In the Easter holidays we will be visiting my in laws in Winscombe, North Somerset, and I'm looking for things to do. We have a 1yo and a 4yo. We've done Weston Super Mare to death, are there any other full days out in the area?

Thanks

Puxton Park, Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, Chew Valley Animal Park, Wild Place ..

I don't have many ideas if you don't like farms 😁

Brean - the national trust beach is ace, but also nearby splash park and soft play if looking for something on a rainy day.

another vote for Puxton park and the wild place (now called the Bristol Zoo Project). We the curious in Bristol is fab, but your kids might be on the young side.

glastonbury is not too far, and good for a ramble with kids.

wells - bishops palace will have things on for Easter as well as a nice play area; also the play area in the central recreation field (2 mins from bishops palace) is great

Have you got English Heritage or National Trust membership? Some good days with those.

There's an Easter Egg trial thing at Tyntsfield over the holidays if that's your thing.

Court farm is nice for littlies.

For a cheap day you could go to the Salthouse park in Clevedon - they've just redone it and my 3 year old loves it. You could get a nice pub lunch in the Salthouse pub or wander up the seafront to the arcade and get chips/ice cream, or take a picnic. There is mini golf there but it's not that great tbh. We like a mooch in the woods behind as well and if you're feeling crazy you can swim in the lake, I'm sure others will be!

My grandson wanted to go to the MShed museum in Bristol. We also went to an art gallery where he could do some drawings.

Then pizza for late lunch and bus home

He was 6 at the time. There's also the SS Great Britain which is really interesting.

Cheddar Gorge? Walk/ cycle along the Strawberry Line. Burnham, Brean. Lots of farms as others have mentioned. Noah’s ark zoo, Bristol zoo. (Near Cribbs now)
