London ideas

Hi

bringing 5yo son to London for the night next week over half term. Not down for long but any ideas where we can go? any fun exhibitions?

Twist Museum on Oxford St near Oxford Circus. Fun optical illusions.
Book a slot at the Natural History Museum.
Go on London eye and then visit the aquarium in County Hall.

London Eye and Sealife Centre Aquarium are close together. That saves too much walking.

There are hop on hop.off buses too. There used to be an open top one when my kids were the age of your son. Good if the weather is OK.

The sky garden is free to go up the top but you have to book and take ID. Can see Tower Bridge etc and look over at the Shard (which is higher but expensive to go up).

The museums are free and the Natural History has the dinosaur - and when i took my two 20 years ago there was a dinosaur exhibition too. All.children love dinosaurs don't they?

We also went to The Lion King show, which we all enjoyed. But I think shows are very expensive now.
