London with 11 year old

Any really fun things to do in London with an 11 year old currently?

Heading there this week.

not museums - more active things.

Thinking of the bubble planet experience, DS likes the look of it.

Yes, that is good - my 11 year old enjoyed it! Where do you normally live? Are you looking for London things or city things?

if it’s city things then maybe try an escape room / giant monopoly/ a musical / London zoo

If it’s London things then maybe a boat down the river, going up to the top of the sky garden, a wander along the southbank from Westminster bridge to tower bridge …

tower of london and tower bridge are always good if you haven't done them

HMS belfast is great for active kids who like climbing up and down ladders to see rooms full of weapons

if you want an outdoors day, go to the olympic park in Stratford which has playgrounds / climbing walls for big kids and lots of areas to run / walk / explore / find cafes etc.
