Entertaining a 2.5 yo while fairly pregnant

Hello,

Looking for ideas to make sure my 2.5 yo has a fun time while 28 weeks pregnant and starting to feel a bit slow and heavy! Weather is looking ok, so will do some park walks and maybe a picnic, but any ideas where I don't have to clamber around (soft play/playground) that will tire out a v.sweet but v.active 2.5 yo would be much appreciated. My DH is away for a couple of days, and I'm eager to ensure DC has a fun time.

Thanks!

Have you got any friends you could meet up with?

I was definitely trailing around behind on the playground like you! But I wasn't clambering, I just stood beside him watching and chatting, going for a walk afterwards etc. Tbh that was the easiest way. At home it was nearly more demanding tho you can stick on a Postman Pat or whatever for a bit of a break. I preferred being out and he was tired and happy on return. Someone told me a newborn and a toddler is easier in many ways than late pregnancy. It's my youngest's birthday today and I was telling him last night what we were doing the day before he was born - farm, playground, walk to pond...! So I was still going to the end. Like a pp mentioned, doing these things with others in tow helps a lot, or if you have family to give you a break, I didn't.
