How did you make mum friends ?

My boy has just turned 1 & I’ve decided not to return to work which I’m really happy about but I’m finding it hard to make any mum friends in the same boat.

My antenatal mums are all going back to work and it’s been a struggle to meet other mums. At the playgroups everyone seems to have children a few years older and don’t seem interested in chatting & I’ve been to some Mum Club events but it’s all mums of little babies who again haven’t been that interested in talking to me.

Does anyone have any advice please ? X

There’s an app called Peanut that exists for exactly this purpose. 😊

I had the same problem but over time you will meet them. Parks, playgroups, classes and yes Peanut is good too. But even when you do make some mum friends you’ll find it’s never easy to meet up anyway because of nap times, sickness bugs and all the crazy day to day stuff.
