If it’s soft it could be a lipoma? (Benign fatty lump)

Easier said than done but try not to worry. I'd guess epidermoid cyst which is just filled with pus made from hair and skin cells. I had one on my back and squeezed it and gross stuff came out.

It doesn't seem to hurt him when I touch it and it kinda moved but it feels as if it is a sac of fluid or something not hard in any way,

If it's not hard and moves a bit then you don't need to worry too much. It's probably a lipoma. My son has one on his neck. He had a ultrasound and then the doctors said to just keep an eye on it. My niece had one on her back about where your son's is.

I haven't got a really good photo I'm afraid and I haven't got one of my niece's any more. I thought it was just a gland but it is quite a good size and didn't go down so I took him to the doctor's. It depends on what top he wears as to how noticeable it is. The doctors said it is a Lipoma and they won't do anything unless it starts bothering him.

Luckily he is still young so he isn't bothered. I'm glad it's nothing serious but I was quite surprised when they said they are just leaving him with a big lump on his neck.

Yeah that seems odd to me also
